At Radical Believers Chapel, we believe that transformation is at the heart of the Christian life. Our core values are deeply rooted in the understanding that every believer is called to be radically transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. This transformation is not just a change in behavior but a profound renewal of the mind, heart, and spirit.
Renewal of the Mind: We are committed to the continual process of renewing our minds through the Word of God. This renewal leads us to think differently, align our thoughts with the mind of Christ, and break free from the patterns of this world. Romans 12:2 guides us: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Healing and Restoration: Transformation at Radical Believers Chapel also involves healing from past hurts, disappointments, and traumas. We believe that Jesus' transformative power brings not just spiritual renewal but also emotional and psychological healing. This aligns with our commitment to emotional freedom, as we trust the Holy Spirit to heal our wounds and restore us to wholeness.
Empowered Living: Transformation leads to a life empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are transformed to live out our God-given purpose, impacting the world with His love, truth, and power. Our lives become a testimony of His grace, as we move from glory to glory, continually reflecting His image in ever-increasing measure.
Unlearning the Old, Embracing the New: Part of our transformation is the active process of unlearning the 'junk'—the old habits, thoughts, and behaviors that no longer serve us in our walk with Christ. We embrace the new identity we have in Jesus, recognizing that He is our Shepherd, guiding us into a season of abundance and fullness in Him.
Radical Faith in Action: Our transformation is demonstrated in our actions. As a community, we are dedicated to living out our faith in radical ways—whether through outreach, prayer, or service—allowing the world to see the transformative power of Jesus in us. We are not content with superficial change; we seek deep, lasting transformation that impacts every area of our lives and the lives of those around us. History
Radical Believers Chapel was birthed out of the Kingdom Foundations ministry, founded by Pastors Ravi and Julie Kandal in 2004. Ravi’s journey began at the age of 17 when he experienced a radical conversion, marked by the daily audible voice of the Lord guiding him. This profound encounter ignited a deep passion within Ravi to bring Jesus to the lost, leading him to start planting churches in the villages of India almost immediately after his salvation. During his first year of ministry, Ravi’s faith was solidified as he witnessed signs, wonders, and miracles that followed his unwavering pursuit of the Lord. Through this radical devotion, many came to faith, churches were established, and the power of the gospel began to dismantle entrenched Hindu traditions, bringing lasting transformation to countless lives.
After a year of dedicated church planting, Ravi was led by the Lord to further his theological education at Bob Jones Baptist University, where he earned his degree. Although he encountered some theological differences, particularly concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit and modern-day miracles, Ravi emerged with a strong foundation in the Word of God, which continues to be a cornerstone of his ministry.
Kingdom Foundations began its journey in India, where Ravi and Julie, newly married, immediately embraced a family life filled with adopted children. Today, they are blessed with seven adopted children, four biological children, and two grandchildren.
In 2012, under divine guidance, Ravi launched Radical Transformation 4 (RT4), a groundbreaking counseling model designed to bring freedom from the past, empowering individuals to step boldly into their God-given destinies. RT4 focuses on healing memories, behaviors, emotions, and spiritual authority, becoming the hallmark of Kingdom Foundations’ mission.
Radical Believers Chapel was established to continue this mission, offering a place where people can encounter Jesus, experience true freedom, and become radical in their pursuit of God as they walk out their unique callings. Through this church, Kingdom Foundations extends its commitment to helping others experience deeper freedom, enabling them to become even more effective for the Kingdom.
